The holes stay open, so top dressing with sand is not necessary afterwards.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eHow it works\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe solid tines are pushed into the ground. Before pulling them out, tilt the handle towards you by about 5 to 15 degrees to break up the soil further.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor good deep loosening, 60 to 100 holes per square metre are recommended.
