Hollow Tines - Compatible with Lawnpecker
The hollow tines are 3.5 inches long and crafted from stainless steel, with hardened steel tips for extreme durability. Rocky soils and roots are no problem for the Lawnpecker. Using a specialized process, these tines are tapered to ensure smooth soil ejection into the collection tray.
Securely crimped onto the base plate, they provide a stable, reliable hold.
For first-time use or highly compacted soils, we recommend starting with the 0.8-inch or 1-inch tine. For follow-up work or lighter soils, the 0.6-inch tine is ideal.
Tine Options:
0.8-Inch Tine (20mm):
- Loosens and aerates the lawn effectively
- Optimal hole size provides efficient drainage, helping to prevent waterlogging
- Easier to backfill with sand
1-Inch Tine (24mm):
- Large 3x1-inch tines enable highly effective soil replacement, especially useful for clay-rich soils
- The 1-inch diameter ensures soil plugs don’t get stuck, making it suitable for wet, clay-heavy, and very hard soils
1x1-Inch Weed Tine (24mm):
- Easily targets and removes weeds (Note: To use the Weed Tine effectively, detach the collection tray to ensure accurate targeting of weeds)
0.6-Inch Tine (16mm):
- Ideal for quick lawn recovery, as the smaller holes are less visible
- Smaller holes close up faster
- Caution: The 0.6-inch tine may clog quickly in heavy, clay-rich soils
