Delivery time: The cylinder mowers are handmade to customer specifications, the delivery time for a configuration with standard colours is currently approx. 4 weeks, for custom RAL colours the delivery time is approx. 6 weeks.
Our Falkenstein has a robust and torsion-resistant powder-coated 5 mm steel housing and a cutting width of 40 cm. The chain drive is driven by partially hardened sprockets that have been specially configured for the required drive range. The split rear roller with differential function protects the lawn when turning. In addition, the freewheel when reversing enables easy and effortless handling of the lawn mower. The stainless steel rear roller with 20 mm precision stainless steel shaft is virtually wear-free thanks to multiple ball bearings and guarantees a long service life. The equal lateral weight distribution of the device ensures an equal lateral cutting pattern, optimum balance and easy handling of the cylinder mower.
The spindle and lower blade of the mower are made of hard, wear-resistant materials (carbon steel). This makes them particularly durable and guarantees a sharp and precise cut every time. The spindle of the Falkenstein is manufactured by us by hand and has a precise, solid 25 mm spindle shaft and high-quality dust-protected self-aligning bearings. The relief grinding enables a contactless cut and thus minimises wear on the cutting blades. The high-quality KTL powder coating on the spindle prevents the coating from peeling off and the thinly applied coating ensures a better cut by reducing material build-up. The special grinding geometry called "Tournament Cut" ensures an optimum position of the lower blade in relation to the cutting height. The carefully designed angle grinding and the use of wear-resistant materials make the bottom blade extremely durable.
With a weight of approx. 47 kg (without grass catcher), the cylinder mower enables optimum stripes to be formed on the lawn. The handle is height-adjustable and adapts to different heights from approx. 1.65 m to 2 m.
The Falkenstein handle is foldable and has a practical maintenance position for easy cleaning and maintenance. With the manual backlapping function, the cylinder mower can be ground regularly to achieve optimum results and significantly reduce grinding intervals. The handle suitable for backlapping and a professional water-based grinding paste from the professional sector are included. As the manufacturer, we naturally also offer a sanding and maintenance service and, if required, storage over the winter.
The stepless and backlash-free cutting height adjustment is easy to operate and allows the cutting height to be customised. Our Falkenstein is ideal for a deep cut, the spindle should be selected according to the preferred cutting height:
6-blade reel: recommended cutting height 15-25 mm (71 cuts per metre)
8-blade reel: recommended cutting height 10-15 mm (95 cuts per metre)
10-blade reel: recommended cutting height 5-10 mm (118 cuts per metre)
The closedplastic grass catcher ensures clean and tidy collection of the clippings and prevents the unwanted spread of foreign grasses.
